The Verified badge means something — because it's earned, not bought quietly.
A business shows as Verified when two independent facts are both true: it has proven it controls its domain, and it has an active, paid subscription — a working payment method backing a live account. It means the business is alive, active and reachable. In rare cases FeedBacko.me verifies a business manually and vouches for it. That's the whole rule — and it's the same rule for everyone.
Domain ownership
You prove control of your web domain when you claim, and we re-check it periodically. If the proof lapses, the badge lapses.
An active subscription
The badge lights while your subscription is active — a settled, ongoing payment from a real account, which is hard to fake. A chargeback or refund removes it immediately. If you simply cancel or stop paying (no chargeback), it continues for a 30-day grace period so a brief billing gap doesn't flicker it off, then is removed.
Nothing else changes
The badge never touches your TrustScore or your reviews. Paying doesn't buy a better score, and not paying doesn't hide honest feedback — in either direction.
Verification is always initiated inside your dashboard — never through email links or external requests.
